What is X-Soil?
X-Soil is the by-product of the RCBC Boiler. Wondering what X-Soil actually is? Here is some more information:
X‐SoilTM is the product of an intelligent system solution that recycles waste, such as domestic and landfill waste, by almost 100%, leaving no unwanted or useless by‐products. The products generated by this process are steam, electricity, and an environmentally friendly raw material which can serve as a basis in many different areas of production.
The results of various tests which had been conducted by different universities and well‐known institutions (tests for hollow concrete blocks, MDF, and top soil to indicate the vast span of the products possible) show that the merging resource is a particularly suitable additive for concrete, soil, or as an adequate substitute for wood in the production of fiberboards, depending on process parameters used. The findings demonstrate that the generated output observes applying environmental regulations.
By means of a clever crushing device the input material is shredded to a fine intermediate output with a predefined size and shape. In this process, metals are cleansed, agglomerated, and pre‐separated from non‐metallic material; this is needed for the further treatment in the second step. Without this preceding mechanical treatment, subsequent consistent chemical reactions and processes would not be possible.
Furthermore, physical‐chemical processes make sure that any potentially harmful (in)organic substances in the waste are reduced, heavy metals are “stabilized”–respectively immobilized– and that the generated product possesses specific characteristics needed for its further application.
